Writing a blog about peace by a not so peaceful person can be taken a bit by irony; But I’m taking my chance to write to you a topic that so runs my head. I’ve been travelling a lot this past month, in and out of home, visiting places to places. There were two places i really liked because of the fresh air, the smell of the grass and the shades of trees that it gives.

There i just sat and lay and have never been more peaceful in my life. Just the sound of wind blowing the leaves of trees and its cold fuzzy feeling it had. And it was at that point I knew, peace is what people are searching for; I was too, mentally and physically at peace at the time. I wish people can feel that feeling of the serenity nature has given me. There i find how much God knows our wants and needs— God really offered us peace, in the verse Philippians 4:7 “Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.” Peace of mind is what God wants us to have in life because it is beyond our human comprehension and it is all that we ever need. Different us, we all have different ways we dig our peace. One of the verse that always hits me deep is when Jesus said in John 14:27 ““I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.”

While the world is looking for peace, Jesus said he left us peace not only of the mind but also of the heart. This verse has run through so much of me because God knows exactly what we needed. In this world of destruction and brokenness, He didn’t offer us the peace like the world does which are momentary but a more eternal peace even in this lifetime. He really said it in His words and I agree to the core which makes me think it is sometimes just our fear that doesn’t want us to give our all in Him. I am a Creation and I don’t mind giving all that i am to who created me and not only that, He offered everyone the peace that we all are searching for. All i wanted to remind you from this is that— know that in any heartache, any of your problems and mourn, be it family or career , be certain that God is always (without exception) open to help you through all of it and is always there to give you the peace you needed.
